Hello, my name is Sidharta and the first thing you need to know about me is that I'm passionate about meeting people. Perhaps that's the reason that led me to a career in the classroom, where every day I have a dialogue with the difference that lives in every human being.
I am a professor of Sociology and Philosophy (the field in which I obtained my PhD) and therefore a lover and scholar of the interpersonal relationships present in our society. Curiosity and critical thinking are elements that drive me.
When I'm not in the classroom, you'll find me running around the beaches, mountains and streets of Rio de Janeiro. A resident of Copacabana and an unconditional lover of the city's natural beauty, cultural life and history, my main hobby is to explore the urban space while running. I've always loved the idea of being able to share with other runners what I consider to be one of the most beautiful places in the world to run.
