Please, bring along your mobile phone in case we need to contact each other.
DO YOU CANCEL IF IT RAINS?
No we do not cancel our tours if it rains, snows etc. The only instance where we would cancel a tour is if we would have a heavy lightning and thunderstorm. If this happens we will let participants know in advance either via email or phone.
It is rare that conditions are so bad, that we have to cancel, so if you are in doubt, expect to run!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Asheville has four seasons so plan to dress accordingly!
We have cold winters and hot summers, so weather conditions vary significantly. It is always a good idea to check the weather conditions before travelling to Asheville, so that you know what temperatures to expect.
During the colder months we always recommend people to wear long sleeves as the temperatures can get quite chilly in Asheville.
In summer you can easily just wear a t-shirt and a pair of shorts/tights. It is, however, very important to remember sunscreen so that sun burn is avoided. A hat can also be very handy in summertime in general.
IS THERE WATER ON THE TOUR?
Water is not included so we always recommend our guests to bring their own water on a warm day. There are a few public water fountains along the way, so if you are in need of a sip of water, simply ask the guide to point out a drinking spot.
HOW FAST DO YOU RUN ON THE TOURS, DO I HAVE TO BE AN ELITE RUNNER TO PARTICIPATE?
Most of our tours are private, so the running pace is set by you.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO STORE BAGS AND CLOTHES AT THE PLACE WE START?
Unfortunately, we don’t have a storage place for your bags, please consider this.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO TAKE PICTURES ALONG THE WAY?
Of course! You can take as many pictures as you want along the way, bring your camera and if you want to take pictures at a certain place just ask your guide for a “photo stop”. In additional your guide will take photos along the route and then send them to you via e-mail after the tour.
