This was a fantastic tour. Citla is an excellent tour guide. She’s got incredible knowledge about the city and is very passionate about the city and its heritage. I’m delighted I did the tour and got to see some of Mexico city’s highlights. I would strongly recommend anyone wanting to explore the city to give this a go. Citla ran at a comfortable pace and we had many stops to chat, examine points of interest and take some photos. She’s a very patient guide and I think it will be an unforgettable tour for anyone interested.

15K Running Tour around Mexico City

My 15k Running tour of the most emblematic
places of the mega-metropolis, Mexico City was a unique experience that exceeded my expectations. I reserved it the day after I arrived from Los Angeles to have a quick introduction to the city. We stopped at El Zócalo, El Templo Mayor, El Palacio Nacional, La Casa de los Azulejos, Monumento a la Revolución, Monumento a Nezahualcóyotl, Monumento a Cuauhtémoc Monumento a Hemiciclo a Juárez, El Ángel de la Independencia, Monumento a los Niños Héroes, y El Palacio de Bellas Artes. Citlaltzin, city manager running tour guide, was very knowledgeable of the history of the city its iconic monuments. I was also lucky to run with her a second day and we joined other major cities across the globe to celebrate Global Running Day. She further excelled by providing me with a list of must visit food places that were incredible. I will sure make another reservation next time I am in the city.

I did the 15 km in Mexico CIty in an early ( 06.00) morning of a Sunday in September. Citla was at my hotel 10′ before and the day before she checked if everithing was ok! we run trhough the park, the big avenues and the historical centre. I saw places that never I should be able to see by myself! GREAT RUN! DO IT! Massi

    Amazing Running Experience in CDMX

We had an amazing tour with Citla this morning. We covered way more ground that we would have been able to in a walking tour and Citla had an expansive knowledge of the sites and monuments – it really brought the city to life. Not to be missed!

I just finished an abbreviated version of the 15k tour with Citla. It was so much fun! I was worried about running at such high elevation, but Citla was patient, kind, and flexible with my schedule changes. She is also super knowledgeable about this beautiful city. Thank you, Citla! I hope we can run together again someday!

My husband and I had an amazing tour with Citla. Her English is fantastic and she did a great job of explaining history, culture and even some politics! We found it extremely informative! She was very accommodating with pace and okay with walking the last bit of it. Communication before the tour was fast and professional. Citla went above and beyond and I cannot recommend a tour with her highly enough! She even picked us up from our hotel and ensured we got back safely. We absolutely would love to run with her again in the future.

Citla was a wonderful tour guide! My husband, brother and i thoroughly enjoyed our run around Mexico City. We went 15k in about 3 hours and she adjusted to our pace and needs. It’s not all done in a row as we continually stopped for her to describe monuments and points of interest. She also took photos of us so we didn’t have to worry about it ourselves! The run was fun, informative and a fantastic way to kick-off our trip to Mexico City. Highly recommend taking a running tour with Citla!

Citla is an incredible tour guide and my husband Noah and I absolutely loved the running tour. Not only was the 3 hour run the best way to discover some wonderful parts of Mexico City (we are only in town for a few days) but Citla is also a huge running fan and so are we; we had tons of stuff to talk about! We will definitely take another running tour with Citla when we are back in CDMX and can’t recommend this tour enough! It’s an absolutely must!
