Get ready for Old Town Bangkok and run to all the "must see" sights, including the Grand Palace and Giant Swing.

This “must see” run of Bangkok takes you from street-side shopping to the city’s most famous landmarks. It’s a unique chance to view the main sights of Bangkok while also soaking up the hustling and bustling of this incredible Asian capital. This running tour will take you along Bamrung Mueang road to the Old Town (Rattankosin Island) where ancient streets are surrounded by impressive architecture.
There are traditional Buddhist temples, Colonial buildings and the old community. Runners will also pass the Golden Mount, Wat Suthat and the Giant Swing, while your running guide will tell you all about the history and insights of what you are seeing.
No “must see” running tour without the Grand Palace. Halfway through the run you will find yourself in front of the impressive Grand Palace, one of Bangkok’s main tourist attractions along with Wat Phra Kaew that is next up on the run. The running tour continues to Ratchadamnoen road, where you will experience multiple government offices including the Government House and the Democracy Monument. Finally back to Siam, runners will again find themselves in an area that offers more variety than any other area in Bangkok.
A trip to Bangkok is not complete without a visit (and of course on a running tour) to some of Rattanakosin’s prime sights. This tour is your chance to see it with a local runner.

I had a wonderful time with Ratchanee doing the “old town” run and when I indicated not necessarily needed to see the usual highlights we went as mentioned a bit off the beaten track through backstreets in Chinatown. My compliments to Ratchanee for guidance and tips along the run.

Ratchanee is a flexible tour guide who adjusts the tour to be exactly what you need. I had a great time taking in the major sites of Bangkok, learning some hot tips for metro transit, and enjoying the best lemon tea in town.

Even though I was on a very tight schedule and on a busy trip, Ratchanee was able to schedule this tour withing my time windows. Witcha, my tour guide was amazing. Helpful, enthusiastic and very careful when we were crossing streets. He was also checking to make sure I was OK frequently. We ran through the historic Old Town and we we were able to stop frequently for photos and to see different points of interest. Best way to really get to know a place. Thank you so much. Ratchanee in Bangkok, Thailand was EXCELLENT! I am very late in writing this, but I enjoyed our time together so much that I had saved her info and here I am three months later finally writing the review! I had landed from the US and was too full of energy so at 2:00 a.m. I took a chance and sent a request for a tour the next morning (not expecting someone might actually be available on such short notice). Ratchanee was not available but made herself available that week whenever I could sneak away from my conference…she was very flexible and friendly. She was responsive on very short notice, timely in her communication and pick up, was pleasant to be around for several hours and was a great source of local information. And she’s a great person. And she took and sent me photos after the run. She had also customized the run based on my ability and interests. I highly recommend her and Go Running Tours.

If running the streets of Bangkom seems daunting but you want to see the sites a bit differently; book this tour! I enjoyed a lovely morning with Ratchanee seeing the old town and some of the beautiful temples this city has. Even better there were no other tourists around (so great to get photos). Its always nice to get a local’s perspective when in a new city and bond over a shared interest of running! I would highly recommend this running tour.

My 2019 year end celebration in Bangkok started with an 8km run with Ratchanee. Booking was super easy as it was all done via the website. Ratchanee then contacted me thru WA to arrange time and place to meet-up (which was at my hotel at 7am on 31/12/19). So we ran from CentralWorld then thru to the Old City and took in the beautiful morning sights of the Grand Palace and other historical sites as well as the various wats. Safe to say, Ratchanee made the 8km run easy, informative and well worth it.
On 2/1/2020 we ran our first 2020 run (8km) thru the heart of Lumpini Park which I thoroughly loved ! If you’re in Bangkok, Lumpini Park is the place to go for your runs and Ratchanee is the run partner to look for.

I had a great run with Ratchanee in Bangkok. She was very responsive when I booked and met me at my hotel so I didn’t have to figure out the transit system. Her tour brought through the old town, but she also made sure to make it easy so that I could find my way back to China Town on my own later on.
The run was informative and relaxing. She is easy to talk to and if she offers you flower tea, try it. It was amazingly refreshing.
