We start our run with a visit to the origins of Dublin, Dubh Linn to see how this intimate city began. No Dublin visit would be complete without a snapshot of the iconic Guinness Gates where we dive into Dublin’s layers of history while venturing through the colorful Liberties. The Liberties offers a view of new and old Dublin sites and is the home of St. Patrick’s Cathedral where our native saint baptized the locals.
We make our way to the literary quarter of Dublin while stretching out through the cobblestones of Temple Bar, viewing the Liffey River from the Ha’penny Bridge, experiencing the historic character of Trinity College campus and taking a peep at the secret location of St. Valentines heart.
After, we are instantly introduced to the aesthetically pleasing Georgian Dublin buildings on Merrion Square with a visit to James Joyce and Oscar Wilde’s familiar settings. We jog by Dublin’s entertaining pubs on Baggot Street and end with a peaceful finish in St. Stephens Green City Park.
This 9km tour is an amazing opportunity to run through the best of Dublin’s fair city where you will experience insider knowledge of the personality of the neighborhoods and sights all in the company of a local Dublin native.
