Description
Experience a unique mix of Hong Kong’s past and present as you spot traces of the former British Colony running though Central. Starting at Statue Sqaure, where the adjacent Court of Final Appeal, Cenopath, and City Hall are all major landmarks forming our city’s identity.
Jog along a labyrinth of elevated walkways above busy traffic, and gaze upwards at Central’s many impressive skyscrapers. Set your foot on the Mid-level Escalators, longest outdoor escalators in the world, also visited by Batman the Dark Knight!
Discover the hangout of Dr. Sun Yat Sen and friends, where they plotted a nationwide revolution against the Imperial Qing Dynasty which resulted in modern China. The plot was planned in a delightful courtyard still exist today.
Weave through secret alleyways behind the trendy wine & dine neighbourhood of Soho, where you can also explore open street markets, old temples, art galleries, and even a prison compound! Don’t forget to ask your guide for food recommendations and insights on local specialities.
At the former administrative side of Central, pay a visit to the Chief Executive’s resident at Government House, and cool down at St John’s Cathedral, first Anglican church in the Far East. Finish with a post-run stretch next to the lion sculptures at the HSBC Main Building.
This tour is recommended to start outside rush hour (avoid weekdays 8-930am, 12-130pm, 5pm onwards), since Central can get super busy and you will otherwise be slaloming through the crowd.

I ran with Jenny during my tour. She shared interesting information about the history and architecture of Hong Kong. I was able to see so much of Central during our run and it was interesting to experience the area with a local guide. Jenny was able to provide some local recommendations as well for the rest of my trip. The logistics of the tour were easy-from booking to a convenient hotel pick up. It was helpful to have the water stop along the way and Jenny made sure the pace was comfortable. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hong Kong and looking for a unique way to see the city.

Excellent running tour! I ran with Jenny and Jean and they were great! They showed me all the major sites at Central, the heart of Hong Kong. We ran by churches, temples, a wet market, the prison and this was accompanied by interesting information. I even got to ride on the ferry! I would recommend this tour to anybody.
