The tour starts at Dataran Merdeka (Independence Square) in KL, specifically at the KL Zero Milestone and the surrounding historical buildings. From there, we’ll head towards the River of Life, where the two most important rivers in Malaysia meet. We’ll pass by Masjid Jamek, the oldest Mosque in KL, known for its beautiful Moorish architecture.

Next, we’ll continue on the heritage trail, which will take us to the Cathedral of St. John and St. John’s Missionary School, representing the British colonial era. After that, we’ll make our way around Bukit Nanas Eco-Forest, with the KL Tower sitting atop the hill. It’s a natural forest right in the heart of downtown KL.

From the heritage sites and forest, we’ll move on to the modern part of KL, highlighted by the iconic KL Twin Towers and its park. We’ll then explore Little India and Chinatown, and if we have time, we can take a break to enjoy some local delicacies and desserts. As we continue, we’ll pass by a street where a Hindu temple and Chinese temple are located side by side, showcasing the peaceful coexistence of different religions and cultures in Malaysia.

We might make a stop at the Central Market to see authentic artifacts and cultural products before ending our run back where we started. By the end of the run, you’ll be amazed by the diversity KL has to offer, from its vibrant cultural heritage and delicious food to its unique architectural buildings. It’s a place where people of different faiths and religions learn to accept and appreciate each other, evident in the close proximity of temples, mosques, churches, and Sikh temples. It’s a powerful reminder that despite our differences, we can live harmoniously and joyfully together!
