Double beds, kingsize and twin rooms in lovely, character farmhouse cottage with open fire, large communal kitchen, and living room.

Stephenson Ground, nestled on the opposite side of the Duddon Valley to Coniston, is more secluded than some of its more celebrated neighboring valleys.
Arrive at Stephenson Grounds between 4 pm and 5 pm.
6 pm: We will head out for a short 10km run on Friday night around the Duddon Valley. You will be able to get a shower at the cottage, as there are warm showers for all the guests.
8 pm: Dinner at the Blacksmiths Arms.
Meet at 7.30 pm. Lifts will be provided from the farmhouse, or we can meet there.
8m to 9 am: Breakfast.
10 am: After breakfast, we will head out for our longest run 9 to 12 miles depending on preference and ability to Coniston.
12.30 pm: Those who want to run the Coniston Fell Race will be driven to Coniston and entered in the race. The others can watch the race after their run. The event is suitable for GPS but requires some experience of fell running and navigational ability.
12.30 to 2.30 pm: Late Lunch in Coniston, followed by a lift back to base. We may also find a swimming spot for anyone who fancies a dip.
5 pm: Navigation or route planning session before dinner.
6.30 pm: Dinner at the award-winning Blacksmiths Arms in Broughton Mills.
8.00 to 8.30 am: Breakfast will be cooked for you by your guides at 8.30 am.
10 am: We will head out for our morning run from the farmhouse. towards Seathwaite. There will also be the option of a shorter run of around 5 miles.
5 pm: Option of a second shorter run of about 5 miles. TBC
Dinner will be cooked by our caterers using local produce with some lubrication if you are so inclined!
7.00 to 8 am: Early breakfast.
8.45 am: Pack up as we have to be out by 10 am to 10.30 am.
There is an option of an early run, depending on when you need to get off. You will be able to shower afterward before leaving.
