Description
We’ll meet at the stunning “Greetings Tour” postcard mural tribute to Las Vegas (greetingstour.com), wind through the streets around the Arts District, experience a taste of the Fremont Street Experience, and end up just east of downtown in a creative enclave originated by the founders of Zappos.
The vibe of this tour is casual, eclectic, and visually diverse. And will give you a great feel for the contrasting components that make this area of Las Vegas so interesting.
Downtown Las Vegas Gets Artsy
The visual transformation of downtown began early in 2013 with the first edition of the “Life Is Beautiful” art and music festival. Each year following, the Life is Beautiful Festival has endeavored to make downtown Las Vegas more wonderful by creating lasting art pieces, many of which you will see on our tour. Street art changes from time to time, so murals you may have seen on past visits could have been updated and refreshed, depending on the artists and community events at the time.
Along our route, we’ll make our way through the world-famous Fremont Street Experience. Original icons of “old Vegas” – the Golden Nugget, Four Queens, and Binions flank the street. Highlighting the newest addition of Circa, this section of downtown is worth experiencing at night, however our daylight view will give you a great snapshot of spots you should revisit once you’re ready to hit the town after dark!
As we wind back to the finish line of our tour, we’ll take in a few more murals and complete our run on a buzzy downtown city block rooted in community, celebrating local music, art, and creators. Grab some coffee and take a leisurely stroll around. We’re sure you’ll find something you can’t get in the airport gift shop!
