Description
Get a jump start on the day of your conference, trade show, meeting, or vacation with this 5k run down the famous Las Vegas Strip. We’ll start our day while most revelers are still working on finding their morning coffee!
Running on the Strip can be a little tricky. There is not one contiguous sidewalk on Las Vegas Boulevard. The Las Vegas Strip route is broken up with several stairs/escalators to reach pedestrian bridges meant to provide a safe crossing over busy streets intersecting the Boulevard. It just adds a little punch to our cardio program!
Getting Started
We’ll start our run early to beat the crowds and the heat. After we gather at our meeting point, we will take off on our out-and-back run that will take us by some of the iconic symbols of Las Vegas – the Mirage volcano, Caesars Palace, Bellagio fountains. Down the way, we’ll take a little side-trip through the Park MGM. We will pass through Toshiba Plaza to loop by the T-Mobile Arena. Here. the Vegas Golden Knights play, many world-renowned recording artists perform, and other large scale events take place.
Las Vegas’ Top Attractions
Keep your eyes peeled for other familiar landmarks such as Lady Liberty greeting us at New York Casino and the pirate ship of Treasure Island. Check out Las Vegas’ legendary symbols such as the golden lion at MGM and glittery lights adorning the Flamingo and Harrah’s. Along the way, we’ll also catch a glimpse of the High Roller – the largest observation wheel in the world! Keep your camera close to grab a shot in front of familiar attractions such as Paris’ Eiffel Tower and the Grand Canal and gondolas at the Venetian.
Las Vegas has a way of transporting you and your imagination to somewhere far away. It’s an experience that beckons millions of travelers from all over the world each year. Take a unique piece of that experience home with you on our “Strip Sampler” run. It will definitely provide you a unique up-close-and-personal view of Las Vegas. The cherry on top is some great photo opportunities. Besides, a few miles help you work off those calories we always seem to collect during a Vegas trip!
