Description
Royal Parks and Palaces is a run to celebrate getting away from the hustle of the city and experiencing a regal side to London. With no road in sight you can explore three royal parks. Hyde Park is the largest and is home to the Serpentine Lake and Lido. A runner’s haven in the middle of the city. Royal themes throughout you will see the Princess Diana memorial and trail and also the The Albert Memorial. St James’s and Green are smaller of the two but have just as much to see. The Mall will allow you to relive or imagine the feeling of crossing the London Marathon finish line.
St James park lake will lead you to 10 Downing Street. Get a glimpse of the famous black door to the home of the Prime Minister. If you have seen the city and want to run in some fresh air this is the run for you. Its green, central and away from the crowds, you will feel royal!
Lisa Cahill –
I had the most amazing run with Rory this morning, running from my AirBnB in Kensington to Tower Bridge and back along all the amazing sights of London… Rory totally tailored the tour to what I wanted to see, and was a fun and happy person to run with. It was my favourite running tour, and left me on such a high for the rest of the day. Thanks Rory – it was lovely to share this mornings run with you, and I hope to run with you again one day.
