This running tour starts off from outside Mdina and continues to the town of Mtarfa, which was a British base during World War 2, and where you can see the historical buildings and hospital which were used during the war. We then move on to the medieval city of Mdina, the previous capital city of Malta.
Here you can admire the fortifications, magnificent buildings, alleys and beautiful views from the top. The run continues through the narrow streets of the ancient town Rabat. Our route takes us in front of the Parish Church of St Paul and Grotto of St Paul, where the Saint lived for 3 months and in that time gave us our Christian religion. We will run along the Catacombs of St Paul and of St Agatha. We then exit Rabat and enjoy a final country run taking us past a convent and back to Mtarfa. Fantastic run!
Note: Including transport, this tour is estimated to last 2 hours and 15 mins.
