Milan is a vibrant city that offers a multitude of attractions for visitors year-round, including cultural festivals, art exhibitions, and numerous business opportunities. We will open up our Milan Essential pack right at the Duomo and we will soon jump to the famous skyscraper with the braces, Torre Velasca. Our next stop will be a quick glimpse at Santa Caterina Church and Ca’ Granda with its courtyard (let’s see if we can sneak inside, just for a pic… it’s gorgeous!), the current seat of the University of Milan.

Then, the two Churches of Santo Stefano and San Bernardino alle Ossa, with its ossuary, will come next. And after a fast slide through Piazza San Babila, time for some cruising through Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga, right by the Quadrilatero della Moda. And just across the street, the Quadrilatero del Silenzio, with its Liberty buildings and villas like Ca’ de L’Oreggia (whisper into the bronze ear and make a wish!) or Villa Invernizzi with its Pink Flamingos, is ready to unveil its hidden gems!

Then, just a green escape from the concrete jungle at the Giardini Pubblici, with the massive building of the Railway Central Station showing from afar as we pass Piazza della Repubblica, and we will reach Porta Nuova district in Piazza Gae Aulenti.

No visit to Milan is complete without indulging in the city’s famous “aperitivo” culture. Luckily, there are plenty of places to experience this beloved tradition. We will head to Corso Como, Porta Garibaldi, where you’ll find plenty of options for an authentic Milanese “movida” experience. Alternatively, why not sip your cocktail on the marble steps of the Arco della Pace, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center? If you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, the English-style Parco Sempione and Castello Sforzesco offer a peaceful retreat from the city. Stroll through the park’s tranquil ponds and lush greenery, but be warned – the resident squirrels might try to steal your snacks! 😊

No trip to the land of the Renaissance would be complete without experiencing the city’s rich artistic heritage. We’ll explore the bohemian district of Brera, home to the legendary Pinacoteca, and then to one of the world’s most renowned opera houses, Teatro Alla Scala. Dress to impress for an evening of ballet, and soak in the stunning architecture and world-class performances. Our final stop will be the Galleria, and then once again see the breathtaking view of the Duomo.
