Accommodation during the trip will be at the charming homestyle Hotel Aak (based on twin/double shared rooms).
What Level of Running is this Trip Suitable for?
This adventure is for everyone. Some trails can be quite technical while some are smooth so we strive to make an adventure that fits everyone on the trip. The runs may be changed due to weather conditions. Be prepared for different trails that will require slow moving, power hiking, as well as steep and technical routes. All runs will be measured in time rather than distance due to the vertical +/- and technical aspects of the trails.
DAY 1 | ARRIVAL
Upon arrival in Molde (at a given time), a shuttle will transport you to the hotel. Get settled with an evening of yoga/stretch/core strength, and enjoy dinner at the hotel.
DAY 2 | TROLL WALL
After breakfast at the hotel, the trip will be kicked off with a run of 3-4 hours out and back to the top of the famous Troll Wall. This is about 10 km over technical and steep terrain. Taking the scenic drive up the valley to the top of the waterfall. Covering some steep rocky trails, valley floors filled with berries and across glacial moved rock formations to the pass and overlook of the magnificent Troll Wall and valley below.
DAY 3 | WEST NORWEGIAN FJORDS
Today will take you kayaking on a 3-4 hours trip in the UNESCO fjord which will offer some great views. In the afternoon, there will be time for a 2-3 hours run.
DAY 4 | ROMSDALSEGGEN RIDGE
After breakfast, the day will be spent with a 4-6 hours run on the Romsdalseggen Ridge. The run has a height difference of about 970 meters and is 10 km long. Enjoy the stunning views from the top of the ridge as you follow the well-marked path and steady surface. There are parts of the run that are exposed, however, there are bolted chains in the steepest part to help secure a good and safe grip.
DAY 5 | GUDBRANDSJUVET
On this day we will go canyoning or white water rafting (depending on water levels) in Gudbrandsjuvet, Valldall. The trip will be of 5-6 hours. Challenge yourself on this exciting course through the canyon that offers via Ferratas, tight ropes, cliff jumping (into the river), zip lining, and swimming! In the afternoon, we’ll take it a bit easier with an e-bike ride.
DAY 6 | RUN AND CLIMB
Today, after breakfast, it will be time for a 4-5 hours run. We’ll enjoy packed lunches, and potentially a via Ferrata (climbing trail) as an optional add-on.
DAY 7 | DEPARTURE
After the last breakfast at the hotel, shuttles will transport you to the airport.
