Description
Our walking tour begins at Yagan Square, a popular tourist spot with gardens, arts, eateries, bars, and space for entertainment.
We then head towards the Perth Arena, following the path above the underground bus port. The popular Hopman Cup Tennis is usually hosted at the Perth Arena. From here, we take a walk to the Parliament House. You’ll also find the popular Kings Park following this path. The Park even has a botanical garden that houses diverse species. There’s also a mixture of vegetation like grasslands and bushland, making the place even more interesting.
We will then head to the State War Memorial, which was built to pay tribute to people who have died during the war. Next, we will tread down the Kokoda Steps. It was specifically set up for Australian soldiers who died during the New Guinea Campaign.
We walk back to the city by crossing the Kwinana Freeway footbridge and walking down King Street, home to luxury retailers and a renowned fashion destination.
