In short, a perfect tour for runners who like to experience the heart of a city and main city landmarks.
Reykjavik or the “Smokey bay” in English is the capital of Iceland. It is assumed that the name Reykjavik derives from the hot-springs that were prevalent in the area and the steam they generated. It is the world’s northernmost capital and among the safest cities in the world.
On the way, you will pass the Tjornin pond with its bird life and surrounding gardens. Moreover, the route will take us to the largest church in Iceland Hallgrímskirkja and the old harbor area with its lively restaurants and arts.
Usually, we pick-up our runners where they stay (if in Reykjavik city). Or we start from the Harpa Reykjavik Concert Hall.
Above all, you will define the pace and have time to take pictures, if you wish.
