The city of Tampa truly got its start in the late 1800’s with the start of Ybor (Cigar City), the Tampa Bay Hotel and it’s place along Henry Plant’s elaborate railroad system and the discovery of phosphate. In a city like Tampa you can squeeze this all in within a 10k run, which is pretty awesome, while our expert guides fill you in on all the history behind those key moments in Tampa history! Tampa also features its absolutely stunning Riverwalk which really connects key parts of the city, and with the right planning it can be incorporated with a downtown and Ybor adventure or even an escape off the beaten path to the trendy Heights District.
