Description
We’ll start our Toronto Waterfront & Skylines tour in the heart of Toronto’s fashion district. From there, we’ll check out two recent additions to the area: Stackt Market, an outdoor marketplace and event space made of repurposed shipping containers, and the newly finished Garrison Crossing that connects the King Street community with the waterfront via scenic overpasses.
Our Toronto Waterfront & Skylines tour run will take us past Fort York, a National Historic site and old military base built to defend the settlement back in the late 18th century. We’ll pass by Exhibition Place and Princes’ Gate en route to the Martin Goodman Trail that runs along the waterfront of Lake Ontario. This trail is a popular route for cyclists to commute in and out of the city from the neighboring suburbs. From there, we will follow the trail branch that leads into Ontario Place and Trillium Park, home to green space, a marina, a cinema, and popular concert venues. And did we mention the views? This is one of the best spots to see the city skyline! On our way back to the hustle and bustle of the city, we’ll make one last stop at Graffiti Alley before heading back to our meeting point.
