A 10km must-see tour where we will explore the highlights of downtown Vienna – including the famous baroque St. Charles Church.

Vienna Downtown Tour is the perfect tour for runners who like to experience the center of Vienna with its main sights, hidden parks, and metropolitan vibe, as well as the impressive Belvedere Palace. On this tour, runners will see some of the highlights of the old imperial city. First of all the majestic Ring Road with its architectural masterpieces and magnificent buildings like the Parliament, the State Opera, the University, and many more. The run also goes straight through the very center of Old Town Vienna with St. Stephen’s Cathedral as its beating heart.
But downtown Vienna is more than avenues and impressive buildings. It’s a capital-rich on nature and flora directly in the city: Like the Vienna City Park with views to the river Vienna, and “Volksgarten” with its many rose bushes. Alongside the Danube Canal, runners will feel Vienna’s urban vibe where street art, clubs, and restaurants portray modern life in the Austrian capital.
On this running tour, we will also visit Belvedere Palace, which was a summer residence for the high nobility with its beautiful baroque garden hidden in the middle of Vienna. Take a glance at the “Karlskirche” and see the great museums of the Vienna hotspot “Museumsquartier”.
Additional info:
Since this is a private tour, you will define the pace and have plenty of time to take pictures, if you so wish. There will also be at least one drinking water station during the run (only during summer).

gern sende ich Euch eine Bewertung zu unserem heutigen Lauf. Ein tolles Sightseeing beim Laufen, alle Hotspots mitgenommen, Hintergründe erläutert bekommen und sogar noch einen Eindruck davon bekommen, was die Wiener so bewegt. Auch der Sport ist nicht zu kurz gekommen. Du hast Dich wunderbar an die Pace-Vorgabe gehalten. Dass Du mir dann am Prater noch eine Strecke gezeigt hast, mit der ich meine Vorgabe im Trainingsplan aufrunden konnte, war echt klasse. Tausend Dank! Es hat echt Spaß gemacht und jederzeit wieder.

gerne schreibe ich Euch eine kurze Bewertung für den wundervollen Lauf mit Dir. Es hat mir großen Spaß bereitet und mir viel Wissen, in kurzer Zeit, über Wien vermittelt. Du zeigtest mir viele Sehenwürdigkeiten von Wien und hattest für alles eine kleine Geschichte dazu parat, großartig!
