Hi, my name is Stephen and come originally from Ireland but have called Berlin home for the last few years. Running is a passion in my life and I am a proud member of SCB Berlin which is a local Berlin athletics club. Personal achievements include winning various national Irish club medals and completing marathons. My most memorable running moment came in 2015 when I came 5th in the Oslo marathon in 2 hours 32 minutes. You'll agree this is very close to 2 hours 30 minutes so obviously this is my next target!! When I'm not running I'm a proud husband and father to my German wife and young son. Their love and encouragement have helped me in chasing my dream to become a run tour guide. With my fascination for Berlin history, let me guide you round this amazing city where the past is literally tangible. From Communist East Berlin, Opulent West Berlin to the second world war and the split/reunification of this great city, lets explore together.
