Hello! My name is Geoffroy (I know you will struggle with that so feel free to call me Geoff).
I’m french which means I love eating baguettes, cheeses and frogs. In addition I live in Bordeaux, which means I’m also a red wine lover. But above all the obvious French cliche (which are still true), what I like the most is sweating and running. I run everywhere I can. I run to go to work, I run to go shopping, I run to visit my city and my region, I run to go... running. Most of the time, I run just for the fun of running but I also do trails and ultra-trails, to challenge myself and see how far I can go.
I’ve been a sport journalist for about 10 years, mainly covering outdoor and adventure sports including running. I’ve tried to follow Kilian Jornet on a trail to make a live-interview, but I dropped off after 100 meters unable to breathe. However, I’m still alive and I still think running is the coolest thing you can experience... even when you’re not competing for a world champion title.
