Hi I am Kate. I came to New York in 2000 to pursue the bright lights of Broadway! In the years since, I have become a professional actor, director, and producer, and currently work as a theatrical general manager, with several Broadway shows under my belt. I like to say that the things that made me a New Yorker were: 9/11, the blackout of 2003, and the transit strike in 2005.
In 2008, I traded in my tap shoes for running shoes and haven't looked back. This half-marathoner most enjoys cool fall afternoon runs along the water’s edge, but can also be found in the pool, on a kayak, or playing softball. A Baltimore, Maryland native, I am happy to discuss sports (baseball being my favorite), entertainment, travel, or all things New York City.
Join me for a jog to find out why New York is a magical place to be and why 9 million people choose to be here too.
