Famous for its UNESCO Heritage ice fjords, Ilulissat is the perfect entrance to life in North Greenland. With a population of 4600, it is the third biggest town in Greenland, and the main town in the north of the country, in the middle of Disko Bay.

Ilulissat means iceberg and you’ll soon see why. The town’s main attraction is the stunning ice fjord – one of the world’s fastest and most active glaciers.
