MUNICH WALKING TOUR – 4K

This is the ideal walk tour if you want to explore the city in a short time and yet enjoy each one of Munich’s top highlights to the fullest. We usually take our walk early in the morning before the city gets busy to ensure you get the best from this sightseeing tour.

Munich city is known for its medieval architecture, green spaces, museums, and unique landmarks, to name a few. Our route will pass by these wonderful places for the best experience.

We start by towards ViktualienMarkt and then head to Marienplatz, a scenic square notable for its impressive architectural features as seen in the Old Hall or Das Alte Rathaus, New Town Hall or Das Neue Rathaus and the Marian column. We also take a look at the Hofbräu Haus, probably the most famous pub in the world.

From there, we walk towards the Maximilian Platz, an iconic place where the Cuvilliés Theatre is located. We will then visit Englischer Garten, a green space found at the heart of Munich, before we tread back to Odeonsplatz as we discover the city’s intriguing history along the way.

During this tour, other scenic places you’ll come across include Munich Frauenkirche or Church of Our Lady, St. Michael Renaissance Church, where King Ludwig II of Bavaria is buried. And as we end our tour, we’ll pass by St. Anna Damenstiftskirche, which is renowned for its black and white murals.
