HOW DO I BOOK AND PAY FOR A TOUR?
All tours are booked and paid for through our online booking system on our website. Cash/credit card payment at the meeting point is not possible.
DO YOU CANCEL IF IT RAINS?
NNo we do not cancel our tours if it rains, storm etc. It is very rare that conditions are so bad, that we have to cancel, so if you are in doubt - expect to run. We will notify you if conditions do require us to cancel the tour.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
While you can usually expect to wear a comfortable t-shirt and shorts, it is always a good idea to check the weather conditions before travelling to San Diego, so that you know what temperatures to expect. During the colder weeks we always recommend people to wear long sleeves as we have short stops along the run, in order to take photos and for the guide to talk about the attractions.
In summer you can easily just wear a t-shirt and a pair of shorts/tights. It is, however, very important to remember sunscreen (at least SPF 30/50), so that sun burn is avoided. A hat can also be very handy in summertime in general.
HOW FAST DO YOU RUN ON THE TOURS, DO I HAVE TO BE AN ELITE RUNNER TO PARTICIPATE?
The running pace is set on our private tours by you. During our group tour we run a pace of about 6:30 min/km or 10 min/mi.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO STORE BAGS AND CLOTHES AT THE PLACE WE START?
Unfortunately, there is no storage for bags. Please travel light. We can only store some small objects in our backpack (mobile phones, keys. etc.,).
HOW LONG DO THE TOURS TAKE?
This depends on the length of the tour (how many kilometers / miles) you choose and your preferred pace. This information is available in the tour description as a guideline.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO TAKE PICTURES ALONG THE WAY?
Of course! you can bring your camera/mobile phone and snap away. If there is a certain place you would like to take a picture, then simply ask your guide. We have photo stops planned at the most scenic locations along the way and will also take pictures and email them to you after the tour.
IS THERE WATER OR FOOD ON THE TOUR?
We will provide bottled water and a delicious San Diego made “Perfect Bar” for energy!
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT/RESTRICTION FOR THE TOURS?
This is at your discretion. It is the responsibility of you as a participant to ensure that you are healthy and able to participate in the tour. Children under the age of 18 are the responsibility of their parents or guardians.
IN WHAT LANGUAGES WILL THE TOUR BE?
The tours will be offered in English
