DAY 1: ARRIVE IN KATHMANDU

Welcome Dinner Ceremony at one of Kathmandu’s best-kept secrets

DAY 2: EXPLORE KATHMANDU

Optional: Sunrise Yoga

Trail Running Sightseeing: Easy paced running through Thamel District – Durbar Square – Swayambhunath Monkey Temple

Group transfer back to the hotel with time to chill

Downtime to recheck our kit and prepare for the adventure

DAY 3: FLY LUKLA – TRAIL RUN TO MONJO

Early Breakfast

Check-out and group transfer to the domestic airport

Domestic flight Kathmandu – Lukla

Arrival into Lukla

3 – 4 Hour Trail Run to Monjo

Arrival into Monjo Village, check into our tea house

Local village exploration and relax

Local Nepali dinner and a briefing on the day ahead

DAY 4: TRAIL RUN TO NAMCHE BAZAAR

Breakfast

Pack up our kit and prepare for our uphill day to Namche Bazaar

3 – 4 Hour Trail Run to Namche Bazaar following a glacial river trail, villages and over suspension bridges

Arrival into Sherpa settlement of Namche Bazaar, check-into our tea house and relax

Recovery stretching and taking in the mountain views over tea/coffee

Afternoon to relax and explore the town

Local dinner served in our guesthouse

DAY 5: NAMCHE BAZAAR

Rest day.

The altitude in Namche Bazaar is notable and as a result we use today as a rest day to help us acclimitise

Easy morning with local exploration to the Everest view point

Optional: Visit the Everest Mountaineering Museum and the Tenzing Norgay momoerial

Relax with the stunning Himalayan views

Local dinner served in our guesthouse

DAY 6: RUN NAMCHE TO THAME

Breakfast

3 – 4 Hour Trail Run to Thame

The trail splits from the popular base camp route and we head north west via the Nyangpala Pass

Explore the Tibetan & Nepali traditions in the villages we pass through

Arrive into Thame, check-in and relax

Local dinner served in our guesthouse

DAY 7: THAME TO LUMDE

Breakfast

Relaxing morning and an easy day with stretching

3 Hour Trail Run/Hike to the village of Lumde

Shorter day on the trail as we gain altitude, crossing the Bhote Koshi river and entering the Lumde Valley

Arrive into Lumde, check-in and relax

Local dinner served in our guesthouse

DAY 8: LUMDE

Rest day.

Full day set aside to relax and acclimitise to the rising altitude

Optional: radial hikes up to the summits of nearby hills to aid recovery and to help prepare for our mountain pass climb

DAY 9: LUMDE TO GOKYO VIA THE RENJO-LA

Breakfast

Prepare our kit and depart early.

5 – 6 hour Hike/Trail Run to Gokyo via the Renjo-La pass

Magnificent day ahead making a crossing of the impressive Renjo-La, descending to the Gokyo Lakes and to the village of Gokyo

Check-into our tea house and relax

Optional: Climb a nearby ridge for dazzling views of the Lakes and to see the Himalayan mountain giants

Local dinner served in our guesthouse

DAY 10: FROM GOKYO TO ZONGLA VIA CHO-LA

Early Breakfast

6 – 7 Hours Hike/Trail Run to Taksindu Zongla via the Cho-La pass

Early start crossing the Ngozumpa Glacier and ascending the Cho-La (5,400m) mountain pass

Relax at the top taking in the breathtaking views. Descend to Zongla

Arrival into Zongla, check-in and relax

DAY 11: ZONGLA TO GORAK SHEP

Breakfast

5 – 6 Hour Hike to Gorak Shep

Easy pace as we continue to increase altitude, entering the Khumbu valley with outstanding views of the Himalayas surrounding us

Arrival into Gorak Shep, check-in and relax

DAY 12: EVEREST BASE CAMP – DINGBOCHE

Early start

2 – 3 Hour Hike to Everest Base Camp

Optional: Hike to the summit of Kala Patthar (5,545m) for the greatest views of Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse & Pumori

Return to our guesthouse for breakfast and relax

3 -4 Hour Hike/Trail Run downhill to the village of Dingboche

Arrival into Dingboche, check-in and relax

Local dinner served in our guesthouse

DAY 13: RUN DINGBOCHE TO NAMCHE

Easy Morning

4 – 5 Hour Trail Run downhill back to Namche Bazaar

The trail today is mostly downhill all the way, via the village of Pangboche with a visit of the Tengboche Monastery on our way through

DAY 14: NAMCHE BACK TO LUKLA

Breakfast

3 – 4 Hour Trail Run downhill back to Lukla

Our final descent alongside the Dudh Kohsi valley passing the villages of Phakding, Gha, and Cheplung.

At Chaurikharka we climbe our final hill of the expedition to reax Lukla

Arrival into Lukla, check-in and relax

Rest of the day to relax, explore

Celebration dinner with local beer to toast the finish of our expedition

DAY 15: FLY LUKLA – KATHMANDU

Breakfast

Weather permitting we will take the morning flight back to Kathmandu

Fly Lukla to Kathmandu

Group transfer back to our hotel for check-in, relax

Rest of the day at leisure to explore, swim or use the SPA facilities

DAY 16: KATHMANDU

Full day at our own leisure to relax
