Myself and my husband wanted to see the walls and streets of Lucca with a local expert and that’s exactly what we got. Lapo was full of facts, dates and info about the local architecture. He provided us with funny anecdotes and great pictures. The next day we returned and felt that we knew the place and visited sites that he recommended. I would highly suggest this especially towards the start of your trip. A wonderful and different way to see a unique Tuscan town.

Go!Running is my go-to when traveling in Italy so I scheduled a run with Lapo during my visit to Lucca. He was a pleasure to run and talk with. Lots of local history as well as interesting stories related to his running career. You know it’s been a good run when it is over way too soon! Looking forward to the next adventure with this group.
