Description
From the heart of historical Florence we will bring you up to the best sightseeing point from which you’ll admire the “cradle of Renaissance”, which the city is also known as. We will run along Ponte Vecchio and enjoy the view of the Arno and the small shops that still today surrounds the bridge.
Thereafter we run uphill through the Garden of Roses to arrive in Piazzale Michelangelo, that offers panoramic views of Florence. Especially early morning or late evenings are great times to enjoy the view as there are less people and the light is nothing less than incredible. On our way back, runners will find themselves immersed in the typical narrow streets of Florence.
We will see some of the nicest squares and most famous florentine architectures like P.za Santa Croce, San Lorenzo and the dome of Santa Maria del Fiore and we will tell you some secret stories about them.
This tour is suitable for every kind of runner and the slope uphill is short and easy. The duration of the tour depends on your personal pace and is from 1h and 15 mins to 1h and 45 mins
This tour is suitable for extra km add-on.

There’s no better way to start the day than with a run, and my run with Lapp was the best way to start my visit to Florence. Not only did I have the opportunity to get in some much needed exercise, but I also had a knowledgeable guide to provide a little direction and insight as we traveled around the city. Every turn was filled with an interesting story about a location or the people that lived there, and the views at the top of the hill made every step up it completely worth the effort. Lapo was incredibly friendly and helpful and even sent me some recommendations for the remainder of my trip. If you run and enjoy learning about the area around you while running (along with the great company of a friendly guide), then I encourage you to give Lapo and his running tours a try.

running around Florence with Lapo was an unforgettable experience! he made us discover the city through the most knowledgeable gaze possible: Lapo knows the history and architecture of Florence like the back of his hand! it was a very convivial moment, and the best imaginable way to exercise. Lapo has the talent to adapt to the rhythm of the group – you can feel the experience of the coach, in addition to the expertise of the architect who loves his city. in short: run to meet Lapo without hesitation;)

The 10km run with Lapo was incredible! He amazed us by his knowledge of the city, made us laugh along the way and was ever so kind to stop when we needed to take a picture or take a breath! Would highly recommend this tour, especially in the morning hours when the streets are quiet and the main attractions are also very quiet so taking pictures in front of them are spectacular! Lapo also took us to some non touristy view points which were breathtaking !!!
