Ivo was born and raised in Zagreb. After travelling throughout Europe and North America, he started understanding that his city has lot to offer to foreign travellers visiting Zagreb.
He was involved with sports from an early age, but his passion for running developed in his late twenties while recovering from an injury that prohibited him to play football. Soon after, all other sports were replaced by running and trail running. While preparing for the numerous trail races in Croatian Trekking League, it was not uncommon for him to change from his business suit to training jersey on various Zagreb parking lots. During the last few years, when he packs his suitcase for a business trip, the first thing he packs are his running shoes.
Ivo’s team currently consists of two friends, both experienced runners with charming personalities, well known on the Croatian running scene for their achievements in the last decade and with great knowledge of their hometown’s little secrets.
Being a person in love with his city, its history and architecture, its tenants and customs, he dreamed of introducing Zagreb to travellers in a "local" way, the way he explores other cities when travelling - it was a dream of a hobby that he now shares with the rest of his team.
