ATLANTA JUST RUN – 10K
Runner on the ground - ALEX
10k only takes us so far, so I am giving you two of my favorite options. You pick the vibe, and I’ll build the route around it.
Option 1: Piedmont Park and the Beltline. This is the softer, greener option. We loop through Piedmont Park on grass and park paths, with the Midtown skyline popping up across the lawn, then connect to the Beltline’s Eastside Trail for a stretch of car-free running. It’s the easy-on-the-legs choice, and great if you want a relaxed morning or you’re getting over a big week.
Option 2: Peachtree Road Race Simulation. This one’s for people who want to earn it. We head out onto Atlanta’s streets and follow Peachtree, the road every local has strong feelings about, in the spirit of the Peachtree Road Race. Expect rolling hills and a bit of a grind, but also the feeling of running a route that thousands of Atlantans line up for every Fourth of July.
Both are “just run” tours, so sightseeing stays light and stops stay rare. I’ll share local tips along the way and plan the route to avoid as many red lights as I can. You don’t need to think about navigation or wonder if you’re heading somewhere you shouldn’t. I’ve got that covered.
This isn’t a training session, so no intervals or strict pacing, even on the hilly option. If you have a pace in mind, add it to the comments at checkout and we’ll try to match you with a suitable guide. If you’re very fast, we can’t promise a perfect fit.
Let us know in the comments which adventure you’re picking, and let’s run.
