Join Go! Running Tours on this one-time only, custom tour of one of our favorite towns in Tampa Bay – Dunedin!
Kicking off in the heart of downtown Dunedin, along the Pinellas Trail, runners will meet at the House of Beer to quench their thirst before heading out on an easy-paced and very scenic route all throughout the best of the best in this quaint and very popular town along the water.
Once everyone has warmed up with their beverage of choice, runners will follow their guide all around the city passing by key locations such as Pioneer Park, Edgewater Drive for those beautiful water views, The Fenway Hotel, The Pinellas Trail and the Orange Belt Railroad Depot, The Historic Douglas House, the home for Toronto Blue Jays spring training and many more! Along this route, guests will learn all about the history of this sister city to Stirling Scotland and how it got its start. From originally being known as Jonesboro and eventually gaining its Scottish background, which is still very present in modern culture, this tour will leave everyone with a new understanding of Dunedin beyond just being an awesome place to go and spend the weekend with friends. From wild pigs who once roamed freely to orange juice concentrate to bagpipes and golf, this city is sure to surprise folks with just how much history there really is here.
In addition to stops at all of the spots mentioned above, runners will also have the opportunity to grab a mid-run beer/snack at Cueni Brewing to break up the run and cool down before heading back out into town! We will ultimately end the tour at Florida’s oldest microbrewery, Dunedin Brewery, where everyone can hang as long as they wish and enjoy great beer and great food at the along with great music and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the evening. And as always lots of pictures will be taken along the way to be shared with guests after the tour! We can’t wait to see you there!
