BERLIN JUST RUN - 21K
Runner on the ground - CHRIS
Lace up for a half-marathon-distance run through Berlin with a local running guide.
This is the right choice if you want to cover serious distance while seeing how Berlin’s different landscapes and neighbourhoods connect. A 21K gives us the freedom to combine central sights with long, runnable stretches through parks, along waterways and across the city’s varied districts.
Depending on the starting point, your pace and the day, we might run through Tiergarten, follow the Spree or Landwehr Canal, cross the open space of Tempelhofer Feld, or head towards the parks and riverside paths of Kreuzberg, Charlottenburg, Mitte, Neukölln or Treptow. I am happy to meet you directly in front of your hotel or accommodation and plan the route from there. The longer distance gives us more room to connect Berlin’s well-known sights with its parks, waterways and neighbourhoods in one varied run.
I will take care of the route and navigation, so you can settle into a steady rhythm and focus on the run. We can keep the route continuous or include a few short stops at selected sights, depending on your interests and schedule. Along the way, I am happy to share stories behind Berlin’s best-known landmarks, explain the city’s history and architecture, and point out the smaller details that reveal how Berliners live, move and shape their city today.
Every run is tailored to you. We run at a relaxed, conversational pace—from an easy jog up to around 4:30 min/km—entirely based on what feels right for you. The route can be enjoyed as a continuous run or with short stops at selected sights, depending on your schedule and interests. A quick coffee, snack or kiosk stop can easily be included, and we pass public toilets and drinking fountains along the way. Feel free to get in touch in advance with any personal requests.
