CHICAGO MCCORMICK PLACE TO CHINATOWN PING TOM PARK - 6K
Runner on the ground - ERICA
McCormick Place is a great starting point to tour Chinatown and one of our beautiful “hidden gems” – Ping Tom Memorial Park.
We’ll pick you up at McCormick Place and run over to Chinatown. We’ll see the Dragon Gate, Chinatown Square and the the Nine Dragon Wall. This is a favorite neighborhood for Chicago Marathon runners and it’s easy to see why.
Then, we’ll run to Ping Tom Memorial Park. The park has murals, statues and fantastic river and skyline views. It offers a unique perspective on the city and is a place that some Chicagoans never see. You’ll get some amazing pictures that are unique and make lifelong memories.
After enjoying the park, we’ll head back to the hotel via a quick run through the Prairie District.
