A full loop around the Alster gives you a unique 360° perspective on the city, with the water always at the heart of the run. Enjoy green parks, elegant neighbourhoods, sailing boats and constantly changing views of Hamburg’s skyline. With its smooth, runner-friendly paths, it’s also a perfect example of what makes Hamburg such a great city to explore on the run: green, open and made for running.

Please note – this is not a ‘training’ run so don’t expect hard intervals, tempo runs or burpees along the way while we stay on a specific pace with military precision.
