HIDDEN MUNICH STREET ART TOUR - 12K
Runner on the ground - DIDIER
The Hidden Munich Street Art Tour shows you the rich and vibrant Munich street art scene on a run. It attracts talented street artists from around the world. It is also the alternative Glockenbach and Giesing neighbourhoods that should be on anyone’s Munich itinerary.
Our first stop on the tour will be the trendy Glockenbach district. Here we’ll see an unusual street art tribute to former residents, including Freddie Mercury and Albert Einstein.
We’ll pass the Candidplatz gallery, painted by internationally-renowned street artists such as Herakut and Case Maclaim. It sits on our way to the fascinating Giesing neighbourhood, home to Munich’s “other” football team, TSV 1860 Munich, as well as the excellent Giesinger brewery. Here we’ll see Munich’s largest mural, Won ABC’s imposing homage to the revolutionary founders of the State of Bavaria.
On our sight running tour, we’ll also visit the famous Brüdermühl bridge. Up-and-coming artists showcase their works here. At the Tumblingerstraße Hall of Fame, young artists practice their craft. The tour will also take you along the river Isar. It’s not only one of the best places to run in Munich but also an excellent place to spot “unofficial” street artworks.
Let our local guides show you this hidden side of Munich and the best street art in town!
