Welcome to the Jubilee Half Marathon Run, where you’ll have the unique opportunity to run through Rome’s most important sites during this Jubilee year, including the four major basilicas. Along the way, you’ll also explore other famous piazzas, monuments, and iconic landmarks of this incredible city.

The run starts at our first major basilica, St. Peter’s Square, the grand elliptical plaza designed by Bernini, located in front of St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City. A must-see for millions of visitors and pilgrims each year, it’s the symbolic heart of Catholicism and a cultural treasure.

As you make your way toward Santa Maria Maggiore, you’ll pass stunning sights like the imposing Castel Sant’Angelo, the charming Via dei Coronari (one of the world’s most beautiful streets), the lively Piazza Navona, and the majestic Pantheon, which has stood strong for centuries. Running along Via del Corso, Rome’s main shopping street, you’ll be greeted by the grand Altare della Patria, a monument honoring Italy’s first king, Vittorio Emanuele II.

Next, after reaching Santa Maria Maggiore, our second basilica, you’ll embark on an exciting run through Ancient Rome, passing iconic landmarks such as the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums, leading you to the third major basilica, St. John Lateran, the official cathedral of Rome.

Before reaching the final basilica, you’ll catch a glimpse of Rome’s Pyramid, the Pyramid of Caius Cestius, a unique ancient tomb. The route then follows Via Ostiense to St. Paul Outside the Walls, built on the site where St. Paul the Apostle is believed to be buried.

On the way back, you’ll run along the scenic Lungotevere, passing the historic Isola Tiberina and lively Piazza Trilussa, known for its street musicians. Crossing the charming Ponte Sisto, you’ll follow the picturesque Via Giulia, returning to Vatican City and completing this extraordinary journey through Rome’s timeless beauty.

Led by passionate running guides, this private tour runs at your pace and offers plenty of opportunities for photo stops. The route is dotted with ancient Roman water fountains, perfect for a refreshing break.

This tour is ideal for runners of all levels, featuring mostly flat roads through the heart of Rome.
