ITINERARY
DAY 1 | ARRIVE INTO MALLORCA (PMI) | RUN THE BAY
Welcome to Mallorca! Arriving at Palma (PMI) we have a group transfer departing to our hotel on the shores of Port de Soller in the early afternoon. Check in and relax before meeting with your fellow group for an introduction and briefing by our team. Late afternoon, we’ll head out for a slow-paced 5km run around the bay to get our bearings and then head out for drinks and dinner on the beach.
DAY 2 | RUN THE WEST OF THE ISLAND & OLD TOWN SOLLER
After breakfast, we’ll pack up our running gear and head to our trailhead in the tranquil foothills of the western island. Our route takes us roughly 15km starting from the sleepy village of Es Capdella.
The trail today is gorgeous with gentle running on undulating paths, straight away we have great views of the Puig Galatzo mountain. We continue through olive groves and forests until we begin a steady but steep climb to a mountain pass for jaw-dropping views. It’s downhill all the way from here as we head towards the Mediterranean. We’ll head back to our hotel for some much-deserved chill time on the beach and then head to old-town Soller for tapas and drinks in the square.
DAY 3 | ANCIENT TRAILS TO PORT DE SOLLER
Trail Running: Approx. 24km
We have a spectacular day where we start in the UNESCO old town of Valdemossa and run back to Port de Soller over mountains and along the coastal trail the whole way home.
This stunning day starts with a nice climb over the summits of Puig Graz and Es Caragoli – the views up here are breathtaking – before we descend down and check out the charming village of Deia. Our final part of the journey picks up the coastal trail which weaves its way past a lighthouse and down into the bay of Port de Soller. We finish at the hotel for well-deserved chill time to relax and swim in the sea.
DAY 4 | CANYON TRAILS TO CUBER
Trail Running: Approx. 15km
We’ll start the day after an early breakfast as we begin running from our hotel to the impressive canyon beyond the Barranc de Biniaraix, weaving our way through the old town stress of Soller. The canyon trail ascends amazingly via the ancient cobbled pilgrim’s path, alongside tall cliffs and shady terraces.
Arriving at the top of the gorge the trail slackens as we then enter a pine woodland, we then get to enjoy the downhill all the way towards the Cúber reservoir for our well-earned finish. It’s then back to our hotel with time to relax, before heading out for our final night together.
DAY 5 | GOODBYE, MALLORCA
It’s time to pack up and bid farewell to your newfound trail-running friends and our local team. A group transfer is arranged in the morning for you back to Palma International Airport (PMI) in time to connect with your onward flight back home.
