Runner on the ground - ROBERTO

Get ready for an exciting and immersive running tour through the heart of Rome’s stunning streets and squares! I’ll guide you on a journey that combines history, fashion, and architecture, with stops at some of the city’s most famous points of interest along the way.
We’ll kick things off at the iconic Spanish Steps, right by the charming Babington Tea Room. From there, we’ll hit the ground running toward Via del Babuino and Via Margutta, where you’ll soak in a fabulous blend of shopping, art galleries, and antique treasures.

Our first stop? The beautiful Piazza del Popolo! Here, you’ll see the two famous twin churches, including the one where the funerals of Italy’s greatest artists take place. After a quick pause, we’ll keep moving along Via del Corso, the ultimate shopping street lined with sports boutiques and fast-fashion hotspots.

Halfway through, we’ll take a turn toward Piazza Augusto Imperatore, where the grand Hotel Bulgari and the Mausoleum of Augustus await. Oh, and don’t forget the Ara Pacis Museum—it’s a must-see! From there, we’ll run down Via Tomacelli to Largo Carlo Goldoni, where the legendary Fendi Building stands. You’ll also spot the famous Zuma restaurant on the rooftop!

Next, we’ll glide down the luxurious Via Condotti, the crown jewel of Roman shopping, before detouring to the charming Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina. This picturesque square is home to chic bars perfect for an aperitif and the stylish Louis Vuitton store inside a historic former cinema.

As we continue, we’ll dash through the lively streets of Campo Marzio, passing by elegant boutiques and iconic restaurants on our way to the Pantheon. A quick stop to admire this ancient marvel, then we’ll zip toward the stunning Galleria Alberto Sordi. Recently renovated and home to trendy boutiques like UNIQLO and Mango, this gallery is a shopping paradise!

Right in front of the Galleria, you’ll spot the grand Zara building, and a little farther along, the Apple Store and Starbucks. Then it’s off to Piazza Venezia, the furthest point of our run. From here, we’ll wind our way back through the charming alleys of Rome’s historic center toward the breathtaking Trevi Fountain, where we’ll stop for the must-have photo op! But the fun doesn’t stop there! We’ll continue along Via del Tritone, passing by the luxurious Rinascente department store, where you can check out the ancient Roman walls inside. A few more twists and turns down Via Due Macelli and Via Frattina, and we’ll find ourselves back on Via del Corso, ready for the final stretch.

The last leg of our run takes us down the glamorous Via Condotti for a final 200 meters, bringing us back to where it all began at Piazza di
Spagna. We’ll keep the pace tailored to you and stop for photos whenever you like. And don’t worry, there are plenty of potable water fountains (called “Nasoni,” or “big noses”) along the way, with fresh mountain water still brought in by ancient Roman aqueducts!

Let’s make this run one to remember!
