Description
This tour is truly unique. London is home to many parks and green spaces and with Go! Running you’ll experience two of the best. Escape the city, the traffic and crowds and enter one of the Royal parks, Regents Park. Exploring the quaint English gardens, you’ll see sculptures lakes and even the Open Air Theatre. In the north you’ll see the Regents canal that eventually lead to Little Venice and the London Docks. The park is also home to London Zoo and the Royal Zoological Society of London. If you’re lucky, you’ll even meet the giraffes! Before moving on you’ll climb 66m to Primrose Hill gifting stunning landscape views. You’ll then climb to Hampstead Heath through Belsize Park, Chalk Farm and eventually Hampstead Heath with highs of 114m, not bad elevation for a city! Parliament will give you another amazing landscape view of the city.
Downhill we will end the tour heading for Camden Town. Home of the alternative, you’ll discover markets and music whilst following regents canal back to civilization. The city will welcome you back, engulfing you with the buildings that looked so small, along with crowds and transport links. You’ll definitely have found a hidden gem which most never experience.
