THE HEART OF LONDON - 10K
Runner on the ground - STEVE
Starting and finishing on the Strand, the Heart of London route covers some of London’s best contemporary sites and historical landmarks. We’ll move from Fleet Street, the former news district, past the fantastic St Paul’s Cathedral, into the Sothern tip of North London and back through the heart of Camden borough and Westminster. The 10-kilometre loop also weaves its way through various green spaces, including Coram’s Fields, Lincoln’s Inn Fields and Russell Square. Here you will learn about the history and importance of these sites.
This tour has everything: the buzz of the streets through the city centre, little-known thoroughfares, and amazing photo opportunities. We’ll also go past several excellent museums, attractions and recommend some key places to visit during your stay in London.
Key Sites on The Heart of London Tour
– The British Museum
– Somerset House
– The Royal Courts of Justice
– St Paul’s Cathedral
– The former home of Charles Dickens
– The Barbican
– The beautiful Kings Cross and St Pancras stations
– And many more great sites!
We would advise taking this tour early in the morning or at the onset of sunset in the evening to get the best experience.
Tour highlight: the Millenium bridge view. When we reach St Paul’s Cathedral, we will pause so you can soak in the view down to the famous Millenium Bridge and across to the Tate Modern art gallery on the South Bank of the Thames.

Fantastic way to explore the city! Steve was very nice and showed us many interesting sights which you would normally miss. The pace was perfect. Highly recommend this run.

This tour was great and showed off some parts of London I may not have normally seen. Steve was great company, knowledgeable about the sights on the route and keen to chat running. He was also flexible with timings and running pace to suit my needs. I would love to do more tours next time I’m in London.

First time to London and I only had 36 hours so I wanted to make good use of my time. Steve kept us going at my pace and shared a lot of great information and tidbits along the way. I would highly recommend this tour!

I was visiting London last week with my family and participated in 2 great running tours – had the best morning runs with Izzi and Hal. We literally ran London – saw everything!
