RANIERO
My name is Raniero, I am married and I have a son. My passion for running began more than 20 years ago, when I started to hit the streets to fight high-school exams stress. And I have to say I must have been very stressed… because I never stopped! It literally became an addiction: I ran 9 marathons, several half-marathons and countless 5 / 10 / 15k races, both in Italy and abroad.
I lived in Rome for the most of my life, then moved to Turin for a couple of years, and now I finally settled in Milan together with my family, where I both live and work. I work for a multinational company, but despite a crazy workload and a very busy schedule, I always find the time for a quick stroll.
Although I am relatively fresh here in the town, I have been able to see – and enjoy – the majority of it, and I am totally in love with this place! Besides the many hidden gems and the attractions the city has to offer, what I love the most about Milan is its frantic pace. The fact that everybody is in a hurry all day – every day, this intense dynamism, pulse and energy that pervades everything.
