Welcome to San Diego, Runners and Walkers!
My name is Kathy and I started dipping my toes into endurance running almost 25 years ago and kept coming back. I’ve lived in San Diego for 16 years and have reignited my passion for longer distances over the past 4 years. I’ve completed 2 full marathons and a dozen half marathons with numerous 5k and 10ks. I love running near the water and the historic Balboa Park. I’m always happy to talk about local races and race day strategies for beginners.
I’ll be happy to lead you through an optional cool down stretch to keep your legs from feeling stiff afterwards and have a ton of recommendations for healthy cuisine, coffee shops and dessert bars.
I would love to show you around America’s Finest city, from the perspective of a runner. I believe in listening to your body and will happily modify the pace or distance as you need for the given day.
