SAN ANTONIO JUST RUN - 21K

Runner on the ground - BEN
Lace up and enjoy a beautiful 21k route through San Antonio with a local running guide.
Our ‘just run’ tours are light on the sightseeing and focus will instead be on a smooth running route with minimal interruptions from traffic lights etc yet still a good and interesting route.
A 21k run that ensures ‘no wrong turns’ and truly gives peace of mind. Where you as a runner do not have to worry about finding your way, getting lost or ending up in unwelcoming neighbourhoods. You will still get to have the local insights from your local guide in terms of modern life in San Antonio, the best coffee bars, local restaurants etc.
Please note – this is not a ‘training’ run so don’t expect hard intervals, tempo runs or burpees along the way while we stay on a specific pace with military precision.
In case you would like to run a certain pace, then please put this in the comments during checkout so that we can do our best to find a guide that fits your level. No promises – especially if you are crazy fast!
We normally go all in on the sightseeing and tour elements of our runs, but sometimes our guests just want to run a beautiful and interesting route, avoid too many stops and in the company of a local running guide. That is what our ‘just run’ service is for.
So let’s Go! and Just run.
Maritza –
This run was exactly what I’d hoped for and more. I booked the 21k “Just Run” Tour while visiting family in San Antonio, needing to get in a long run for my upcoming marathon in February. I’d lived in the city before, but had never run the route from the Riverwalk down to Mission Reach and back, so it was a great opportunity to see new sights I’d never experienced.
Ben was an amazing guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly patient. I had a few stomach issues along the way and had to stop a couple of times to use the restroom, but Ben had mapped out the route perfectly and always knew where the nearest stops were. Beyond sharing fascinating facts and tidbits about the city’s history, growth, and landmarks, we also chatted about running, travel, and a variety of other topics. It really felt like running with a friend.
I highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting San Antonio and looking for something off the beaten path. Ben is an approachable, responsive guide who truly cares about the comfort and enjoyment of his runners. His thoughtful approach, combined with the unique route, makes this a memorable way to explore the city.
