San Antonio has 31 historic districts, and, in my opinion, the King William District is one of the most beautiful and architecturally sound areas in San Antonio. The King William’s District has a history dating back to the 1850’s. This is a neighborhood of large and historic houses designed in Greek Revival, Victorian, and Italianate styles. It is fantastic for sightseers and perfect for running due to its leisurely atmosphere. This run offers a great blend of architecture, history, and picturesque scenery and it is some of the best our Southtown has to offer.

Southtown is a chic place that attracts an eclectic array of people with its fun vibe, specialty shops, trendy cafes, art galleries, and bars. A popular event in Southtown is First Friday. This event is held the first Friday of every month and is the longest-running monthly art event in San Antonio. Artist from around the city displays their art all along the street. From beautiful sculptures to handmade goods. This event brings professional and up-and-coming artists to show their abstract paintings and San Antonio landscapes.  Southtown has an entertaining yet relaxed atmosphere that brings young and old to experience what it has to offer.
