Main Berlin Running Races 

BMW Berlin Marathon  

Date: 21 September 2025

Generali Berlin Half Marathon

The Berlin Half Marathon is one of the most popular running races in Berlin. The history of this running race is deeply connected to the history of Berlin. During the 80’s, each side held their own running races. Around ten months after the wall had fallen, a joint race took place late in the summer of 1990. This race then developed into the one of the largest and most elite 21K running races: the Generali Berlin Half Marathon.

Avon Women’s Race

The Avon Women’s Race is Germany’s largest running race for charity. Participants have the option to walk, 5km run, Nordic walk, or 10km run. Thousands of women participate, running or walking, together celebrating the joy of exercise and standing up for women with cancer.
