Description
The tour starts under the big clock at Scarborough Beach which is a water playground for various activities. Runners will run along the coastal path heading north to Trigg beach and with plenty of opportunities for great photos and views of Rottnest Island – home of the quokka (small marsupial – good looking rat) recently made famous by a selfie with Tennis Superstar Roger Federer.
Running along West Coast Drive you will get to view some stunning properties and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes with a relaxed laid-back atmosphere on route. We will stop at Mettams pool – a natural rockpool where the waters are calm and popular with families, but has a little history which involved explosives!
It’s now time to get off road and run on some trails through native bushland with some great views before heading back to Scarborough past the Amphitheatre, trendy laid back bars, restaurants, coffee shops, new outdoor swimming pool and an opportunity for a dip in the Indian ocean to cool off.
This tour is a great opportunity to see what everyone is talking about and what the Perth coast has to offer. You will not be disappointed!
