Description
This tour is perfect for people who love nature. Bratislava is located in the foothills of the Little Carpathians so within a second it is possible to run into the nature. There are numerous options to connect this run through the woods with other attractions like Bratislava Castle, Slavin – memorial monument and military cemetery or the Old Town.
At the beginning of the tour we run uphill while surrounded by the beautiful Slovakian nature. At the top of the hill we will reach the TV tower called Kamzik, one of the most recognizable buildings in Bratislava. From Kamzik we will then run to a place called Zelezná Studnicka – a very popular destination for people enjoying sports or just relaxing. This place is also well known for its red bridge, which is used for trains. This particular railroad was used for the maiden voyage of the first steam engine train connecting Vienna and Bratislava in 1848.
After a great time spent in the beautiful nature of Little Carpathians we run back into city life. We continue to Slavin, where we get an amazing view on the city. From there we will run towards one of our major attractions, Bratislava Castle, and downhill back to the old town and around another major tourist attraction St.Martin Cathedral . We finish the tour enjoying the beauties of the Old Town and Presidential palace.
