MONACO SPORTS MYSTERIES TOUR – 5K

This tour goes through the northern/eastern part of Monaco. It is adapted to all the fitness levels even if there is a little climbing to do as Monaco is not flat; the guide will adapt the pace to the level of the runner. The gathering point is at Place d’Armes and it’s a circular loop. The group will tackle this challenging yet accessible run and learn some of the sports history related with Monaco.

First, the runners will pass the “Port de Monaco” which is the harbour that has an Olympic sea salted pool. The guide will give some advice on how to find a rich partner during the summer at the pool. 😅 If lucky and depending on the clock, we might even be invited to a party on a yacht. We will run near the starting block of the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix and follow some of its famous roads such as the tunnel with its lights.

At the end of the tunnel, we will pass the Jardin Botanique Japonais – a beautiful garden where it is possible to see fishes but not possible to swim with them. After some more running, if the runner was disappointed for not being able to swim at the garden, he will be pleased to discover a sandy beach the “Larvotto” with restaurants where he can come take a bath after the run.

The group will then climb to another garden “Jardins du Café de Paris”, perfect for a lunch break. That park is surrounded by luxury shops and a vintage carousel for small kids is in the middle. We will arrive in front of the emblematic “Casino de Monte-Carlo” where the guide will let the runners choose what car to take between Ferraris, Lamborghinis and  Porsches to finish the tour.
