Its central location in Nairobi’s central business district makes it easily accessible to residents from all corners of the city City Park Run is one of its own kind. Runners will run in the greenest park of Nairobi while enjoying an excellent view of Nairobi City. The park will treat runners to views of its artificial lake, several national monuments, and an assembly ground which has become a popular skateboarding spot on weekends, catering to Nairobi’s growing skate scene.

The assembly ground is also used for occasional political and religious gatherings too. Shade trees, expansive lawns, Boat riding on the artificial lake in the Park, monuments etc makes it a beautiful place to stop by and have a wonderful sight running tour.

I had a really wonderful time running with Daniel. It was my first time in Nairobi and I wanted to see some sights. I am also marathon training right now and needed to get some miles in. Daniel agreed to extend our run by a few km’s so I could get to my goal distance for the day. Daniel is a very talented runner and has lots of wisdom to share. He challenged me as well which was great. The hills and the elevation were no joke! I’d reccommend this to anyone visiting who loves to run. I did this as a solo female traveler and felt safe in the city.

This was great way to spend my last morning in Nairobi. Daniel was a fantastic guide and running buddy, and the run gave me a much better sense of the city than I had before. He is also a very good photographer, and sent me some great photos to take home. Highly recommend!
