NEW YORK GRAND TOUR - 21K
Runner on the ground - EMILY
This tour is perfect for runners who want to see it all! We’ll start by crossing the historic Queensboro Bridge into Queens, where we’ll visit the newly revitalized Long Island City waterfront and leave plenty of time for photos of Manhattan’s skyline. We’ll then explore the Greenpoint and Williamsburg neighborhoods of Brooklyn, including Domino Park, before crossing back into Manhattan over the Williamsburg Bridge. You’ll learn about the rich history of immigration and the Lower East before we visit Washington Square Park. We’ll finish the tour by running up 5th Avenue, passing the Flatiron Building, Madison Square Park, and the many luxury stores that make the street so iconic.
New York’s waterfront is my favorite place to run. The parks are a great example of the green spaces the New Yorkers enjoy, and the bridges have some of the best views that the city has to offer. I can’t wait to share this tour with you!

Emily arrived on time at a location, close to our accommodation. The route was tailored specifically for us. This followed a 21km tour around Dumbo, Brooklyn and lower Manhattan, meanwhile maintaining a steady pace with great conversation and factual information along the way. 21km has never felt easier! We also got recommendations of sights to visit and great vegan food places. Would absolutely run with Emily again and highly recommend you do too.

Absolutely loved our run this morning, seeing many places I would never had got to without a guide.
Emily was fantastic, very knowledgeable and good to run with. She made sure she asked about pace up front and we pretty much stuck to it, even with a few miles tagged onto the end due to the location of my hotel.
Thoroughly recommend Go! Running Tours and thoroughly recommend this run as a way of seeing New York from a different perspective.
Thank you Emily, and thank you Lena for running (pun intended) a great company.

Had an absolutely phenomenal run tour experience with Derek- and even got to fit in a couple extra miles of sightseeing. The rain couldn’t stop us! I would absolutely highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun and unique experience! Thank you Derek for getting me to run streak day 2,468!

What a great tour! Thanks Emily for showing us the sights on this longer run. We both had such a lovely time, and loved seeing more of what NY had to offer. Emily’s tips of places to explore (and re-fuel!) on the rest of our trip were also really valued.
